Since entering real estate in 2016, April has dedicated herself to delivering a higher level of service focused on relationships rather than transactions. In 2021, she founded Island Life Real Estate with a vision of creating a boutique brokerage where every client receives personalized attention, expert guidance, and a luxury-level experience regardless of price point.

April believes that real estate is about much more than buying and selling homes—it’s about helping people achieve their goals, create memories, and find a place they truly love. Her mission is simple: to provide honest advice, strong advocacy, and an exceptional client experience from the first conversation through closing and beyond. In addition to her role at Island Life Real Estate, April is also co-owner of MOcean Contracting, a roofing and remodeling company serving coastal North Carolina. When she’s not working with clients, April enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, their growing family, traveling, boating, relaxing by the water, and supporting causes that strengthen the local community she proudly calls home.
